About Us

Hi! We are two moms feeding their families real food while dealing with picky kid palates. Here we'll share our successes and flops. We would also love to hear any ideas and tips from you all to help make eating real food as easy and painless as possible.

I'm Chrissy, wife and mom of three boys; college student, preschool age, and toddler! I work a full time job from home, while managing our household and taking care of our youngest two boys. Our family has a wide variety of food allergies, food sensitivities, and an auto immune disease. Real food is a must to keep us all healthy, but is also a challenge for menu planning. But, we do it and we are all the healthier for it!

I'm Rikki, wife to D, and mom of two girls. I work from home (very) part-time and spend the rest of my time trying to keep up with my spunky toddler, preschooler, and black lab. Our family is passionate about eating local and trying out unique recipes. D knows his way around the kitchen (better than me, in my opinion) and is really into homebrewing and food preservation, so I will also be posting about canning, preserving, and home-brewing from time to time; just know that's all him!
